BMP Design was established in 1983 as one of the original real O.E.M. BMW Parts suppliers in the United States, outside of the BMW factory dealer network. In those early years we supplied most of the BMWCCA members with service, parts, and repair, as well as BMW aftermarket parts and accessories. It was our parent company, Al Hafner Tuning's need for high quality O.E.M. BMW parts that was the catalyst for openning our doors as one of the nations premier BMW Parts mail order company.

Our first catalog offered a high selection of BMW high performance engine components, suspension springs, shocks, and coilover kits, as well as big brake kits, aerodynamic spoilers, and quality replacement parts produced by only the top OEM suppliers to BMW. In those early years quality brands like Hella, Bosch, Ansa, Glyco, Kolben Schmit, Balo, Brembo, Mahle, Lemforder, Ocap, Ate, Textar, and Karlyn were almost unheard of in this land of domestic land yachts.
